About the event

The Provincial Building and Construction Trades Council of Ontario is proud to partner with the International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Union Local 128 to provide this training opportunity.

The 'Train the Trainer' program will take approximately 12 hours to complete over two days, from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, including active class time and homework/preparation for the Teach Back on day 2. This program is being offered to train your trainers, to then teach this program.

Lunch will be provided. Participants are required to bring their own notepads and writing equipment they need for notes.

After completing this course, participants will:

  • Have a greater understanding of the signs and symptoms of depression and anxiety.

  • Be confident to approach a worker they may be concerned about and initiate a conversation.
