James Hogarth
President
James Hogarth is President of the Provincial Building and Construction Trades Council of Ontario and has served in this role since being elected President at the Council’s 55th Annual Convention in October 2012.
James has been a member of the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry of the United States and Canada since 1980. He was elected Business Agent of U.A. Local 46 – Toronto, and has served in this position for 5 years before being elected Business Manager of the local, a position he held for 9 years.
James has also previously served as President and Business Manager of the Ontario Pipe Trades Council (OPTC). He also sits on the Board of Directors of the De Novo Treatment Centre and the Ontario Construction Secretariat. James is currently the Executive Director of Helmets to Hardhats.
